Solveig was a handmade boutique jewelry brand I founded in Minneapolis in the summer of 2020. Inspired by my mother—also a jewelry maker—I began experimenting with polymer clay and eventually refined my process into a collection of playful, one-of-a-kind pieces. The name Solveig (pronounced SOUL-veyg) is of Norwegian origin and holds deep personal significance, as it is both my mother’s and my middle name.
At its core, Solveig was built on the belief that style and self-expression should feel joyful and uninhibited. Through bright color palettes, smiling motifs, and whimsical iconography, the brand celebrated individuality and creative freedom. Although I retired the brand later that year, Solveig remains a meaningful chapter in my creative evolution—one I hope to revisit in the future...
