Solveig was a handmade boutique jewelry brand I founded in Minneapolis in the summer of 2020. Inspired by my mother, who also makes jewelry, I began experimenting with polymer clay and eventually refined my craft into a collection of playful, one-of-a-kind pieces. The name Solveig—pronounced SOUL-veyg—is of Norwegian origin and holds deep personal meaning, as it is both my mother’s and my middle name.
At its heart, Solveig was built on the belief that style and self-expression should feel joyful and uninhibited. Through bright colors, smiling faces, and whimsical iconography, the brand celebrated individuality and the freedom to express oneself with creativity and fun. Though I retired Solveig in 2020, it remains a meaningful chapter in my creative journey—and one I hope to bring back to life in the future.
